I learned today that having met Caroline puts me in cahoots with Ellen Degeneres, Gloria Steinem, and Madonna. While I don’t fully understand the ramifications of this, I am aware that they are serious. If I ever start a band with Caroline, its working name will have to be the Serious Cahoots.

he’s frickin’ TALL.

i interviewed her for my college paper back before she came out. she adeptly avoided answering any questions that had to do with politics and social issues. but she was pretty darn funny, even back stage during the interview. i’m glad i got to meet her before she got really big.

was almost a year ago. he should call me because he’s cool and so am i. :) kidding about the me part, of course. todd, drop me a line, you stud. i promise not to throw you out of an airplane this time.

Deb kicks butt. She was one of my AFF instructors and taught me how to do turns in freefall without killing anyone. :) She is full of smiles and great energy and a totally wonderful inspiration to skydivers (especially women skydivers) everywhere. Jump with her if you’re lucky enough to!

She was the guest speaker at a dinner on the UW campus focused on diversity in graduate education. I got to meet her at the end of the event and we talked about the importance of women’s colleges and caregiving professions. It was CRAZY to be in the same room with her, let alone have a conversation with her. She was completely gracious.

You should always invite Ken to every party you ever throw. He is a master of all yummy foods. He makes the best latkes you’ll ever try, and the best rosemary chicken kabobs you’ll ever grill. The thing I like most about Ken is that he thinks pie and coffee in the morning is heaven. Everyone should have a Ken in their life.
